Dodo AEO
Website for an answer engine optimisation product, designed and built by Lumanaire
We designed and built dodoaeo.com, the website for Dodo AEO. Answer engine optimisation is the work of making sure AI assistants name a business, and describe it correctly, when people ask them who to use. The site opens by asking what AI says about your business, with a free audit box right under the question, then walks a visitor through a sample report, the fixes that follow and why it matters.

From the question at the top of the page to the reasons it matters. Tap a stage to jump to it.
Asking
The home page asks what every owner wants to know: what does AI say about my business? Under the question sits a single field for a website address and a Free audit button. Beside it, a sample AI answer lists three plumbers, and the round Dodo mark nudges Your business? up to first place.
The audit box asks for the business’s website address and a work email.
Each business gets one free audit.
Dodo AEO confirms by email that the business is the visitor’s own before the report goes out.
The free audit box. It sits under the opening question and again at the end of the page.
Measuring
The sample report gives a plain verdict, then a visibility score, share of voice, site citations and the facts that differ from the business’s own website. Each number comes with the answers behind it.
Visibility score, share of voice, site citations and facts that differ, each with its evidence.
Each AI answer behind a number is saved as written, so an owner can read it for themselves.
The answer engines look things up on the web before they answer, and the report shows the sources each one used.

Fixing
A score is only the start, so the sample report lists the fixes in order. Weekly rounds of the same questions then show whether each fix worked: moved, did not move, or too early to tell. A before and after chart shows sample questions where the business goes from not named to named.

Making sure answer engines can reach and read the website.
Pages that answer what customers ask, such as the price question.
A listing in the directories the answer engines already cite.
New pages that explain what customers want to know, such as what a repair costs.
Each fix is judged against the questions it did not touch, so a change across a whole answer engine is not counted as the fix working.
Understanding
When people ask AI who to use, the answer is a short list, built from what the web says about each business. The site explains why being on that list, and being described correctly, matters. Then it shows the kind of questions a report would track, with examples for online shops, software and local services.

Why AEO on a computer, and example questions on a phone.
An AI answer names a few businesses. One that is not named may never be seen.
Answer engines read websites, reviews and other sites, and cite them.
Old opening hours or an old price in an answer cost trust, often before a customer reaches the website.
The sources AI cites move from week to week, so the checks keep running.
Questions are ranked by monthly search volume for the business’s field and area.
Owners edit the list, change questions or add their own.
